Venue
All sessions are held in the Skiles Building, home of the Georgia Tech School of Mathematics:
Skiles Classroom Building 686 Cherry Street NW Atlanta, GA 30332
Getting to Atlanta
By air. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is the nearest airport and is served by essentially every domestic carrier.
From the airport by transit. ATL has a MARTA rail station inside the domestic terminal — you do not need a shuttle. Board any northbound train and ride to North Avenue Station (about 20 minutes). Exit the station to the south, walk west on North Avenue across the interstate, turn right onto Cherry Street, pass through the vehicle barrier, and Skiles is the second building on the left.
Midtown Station is an alternative; from there Georgia Tech’s free Stinger shuttles connect to campus. Routes and hours vary by day and by semester — check the Stinger page closer to the meeting, and note that weekend service differs from weekdays.
By car. Georgia Tech is just west of the I-75/I-85 connector in Midtown Atlanta, immediately north of downtown.
Parking
Parking details will be posted here. We will confirm which visitor lot or deck to use, and what it costs, closer to the meeting.
In the meantime, current visitor rates and a campus parking map are available from Georgia Tech Parking and Transportation Services.
Lodging
Lodging details will be posted here. Georgia Tech works with several hotels in Midtown Atlanta for visitors, and we have not yet finalized which one MAAG 2027 will use. Once a hotel and room block are confirmed, we will post the booking link, the conference rate, and the cutoff date on this page and email registered participants.
If you plan to book independently in the meantime, look for hotels in Midtown or Technology Square, both within walking distance or a short transit ride of the Skiles Building.
Meals
Coffee and pastries are provided each morning, and there is a reception during Saturday’s poster session. Lunch on Saturday is on your own — there are many options in Technology Square and along West Peachtree Street, a short walk from Skiles. We will circulate suggestions closer to the meeting.
Please note any dietary restrictions on the registration form.
Accessibility
The Skiles Building is wheelchair accessible. If you have accessibility requirements — mobility, dietary, childcare, or anything else that would help you participate fully — please tell us on the registration form or email dtorrance9@gatech.edu. We will do our best to accommodate requests made in advance.
Conduct
All participants are expected to follow the MAAG 2027 code of conduct.
